Monster Mash Bash is a fun, outdoor event sponsored by the Prairie Trail Parent Teacher Organization (PTO).

When: Sunday, October 27 th

Time: stop by anytime between 2-4 PM

Where: Prairie Trail Elementary School Teacher/Staff Parking Lot

What to expect:

Most kids choose to wear a costume and can enter to win our “Best Costume” contest to get their picture featured on the Prairie Trail Elementary wall of fame. (more enter to win details coming soon or ask a volunteer at the event)
Free will donation pizza and soda
For purchase cookies
Trunk or Treat (we need volunteers, sign-up below, and check out the FAQ’s for more info)

Stroll through the parking lot checking out all the decorated trunks and grab some treats and trinkets for the kids – don’t forget a bag/pail! Some trunks incorporate a game into their theme!
Come and go as you please

YES! Check out Amazon or Oriental Trading (etc) for pre-packaged trunk or treat décor for as little as $9.99! Use keyword search “Halloween trunk or treat decorations.” We are hearing Dollar Tree, Target, and Walmart also have pre-packaged kits. Don’t overthink it, the kids love it all.
o We need at least 14 more volunteers from 6-8PM for the trunks. Candy and trinkets provided!
o We also need 4 food servers per shift. Shifts are 6-7 PM or 7-8 PM. So a total of 8 food volunteers.
YES! Please share awareness of the event with your friends and neighbors – check out the Prairie Trail PTO page on Facebook to share the event and the need for volunteers on social media.
Signup to bring candy/trinkets and drop off in the front entry of the school.
We will reschedule to Sunday, October 30th from 2-4 PM if it’s raining or really cold the day of the event.
