Dream it.
Throughout the school year, we collaborate closely with teachers and students to identify the needs within our building. From installing water bottle fillers at the drinking fountains and adding new bookshelves in the library, to creating a makerspace, implementing new reading curriculum, and providing soccer goals for the green space, we strive to enhance our school environment. Our goal is to support the educational experience and ensure that our facilities meet the diverse needs of our community.
New This Year
Prairie Dog Dashers
The PTO is happy to announce the kick off of the Prairie Dog Dashers Running Club. The purpose of the club is to get kids moving in small ways. Running is an extremely accessible sport, and promotes a healthy heart, healthy lungs, and strong muscles for youth. Running can even promote mental health, increase attention in school, and foster self-confidence.
Hawk Guys
If you are a father or father figure of a Prairie Trail Student, you are a Hawk Guy! This program aims to incorporate positive male role models into the academic lives of Prairie Trail Students and is based on the nationally recognized Watch D.O.G.S program. We hope to mirror their efforts in our own community and school.
